Stock futures moving upward at the end of week
The U.S. stock market was under bearish pressure this week after the fear of higher inflation and higher interest-rate clouded the market. No confirmation yet that the current bullish movement could continue, but traders might pay attention to the release of earnings releases. The bearish pressure might be limited but could continue until the end of the first-half of this year. Nevertheless, traders could treat each bearish movement as a chance to add more long positions at a lower level.
Technical Analysis
Dow Jones Industrial Average (INDU)
DJIA fell below the daily SMA 200 but show a bullish attempt to return above it. At the current time, DJIA futures are up more than 100 points which indicates a bullish opening. If the index could secure a bullish close above the averages at the end of the week then there is a chance of upward continuation to retest the top trendline. Meanwhile, a sudden bearish reversal from the current level will confirm a bearish continuation.
Visa Inc (V)
V share prices have returned to their bullish trend and are expected to continue moving upward. At the current time, the share prices undergo bearish correction and almost reached the daily SMA 100. Traders could wait near the daily SMA 100 & 200 for bullish reactions. When there is a bullish reaction, traders could enter long positions targeting the previous swing high.
