Markets Fade Early Gains as Momentum Slows
Global markets initially reacted positively, with U.S. equities opening higher following easing geopolitical concerns. However, early strength is starting to fade, as price action shows signs of slowing momentum. The Dow Jones initially surged nearly 500 points but has since pulled back, reflecting hesitation after the strong open. Currently, the Dow is up 283 points (+0.61%) at 46,407, the S&P 500 gains 39 points (+0.60%) to 6,595, while the Nasdaq leads with a rise of 205 points (+0.94%) to 21,967.
Despite the positive performance, the inability to sustain higher levels suggests that markets may remain reaction-driven, with traders focusing on key technical zones rather than chasing bullish momentum.
Dow Jones Industrial Average (INDU)
The DJIA extended higher at the open but is now losing upward momentum, with price pulling back after testing higher levels. This indicates that buyers are struggling to maintain control. From a broader perspective, price continues to trade around the EMA 200, a key technical level. The overall structure remains bearish, with no significant change from the previous session. Failure to reclaim and hold above this level could lead to continued downside pressure. While short-term bounces are possible, the lack of follow-through suggests that rallies may remain limited for now.
Hasbro, Inc. (HAS)
Hasbro remains in a bearish correction phase following its recent decline, with price continuing to move lower from previous highs. The current focus is on the EMA 200, which aligns with a key support zone around $82.00 and the 61.8% Fibonacci retracement near $83.82. This confluence area may act as a potential reaction zone for buyers. If price stabilizes around this level, a short-term rebound could develop. However, failure to hold this support would signal continued downside, confirming that the corrective phase is still in progress.
