US Stock Market Technical Analysis | November 08, 2024

Stock futures mostly flat on the last trading day of the week

The euphoria post-election did not continue in a bullish movement yesterday. The stock market is relatively flat today after yesterday’s FOMC interest-rate decision. It seems the market digesting the information and weighing what will happen next. We could say the interest rate will continue to move lower as inflation cools. However, a trade war between the U.S. and China could happen after Trump entered office. Nevertheless, traders will continue to use each bearish movement in the stock market as a chance to add more long positions.

Technical Analysis

Dow Jones Industrial Average (INDU)

FBS The Best Forex Broker

The DJIA index closed yesterday’s trading session with a neutral candlestick close. It maintains the position near record high but might consolidate as we are on the last day of the week. We think the index could continue the bullish movement and print more record highs. When the index starts a bearish correction, traders could use it as a chance to enter long positions. The broken swing high is the level to watch as a support level.

Coca Cola Company (KO)

KO share prices break out below the daily SMA 200, as well as the trendline. It could mean the trend will turn bearish, however, if the share prices could immediately climb and return above both levels then the bullish trend could continue. Traders will observe the share price closing level at the end of the day. If the share prices could return above both levels then traders could enter long positions.
