Stock futures slightly lower to start thanksgiving week
The U.S stock market is set to open slightly lower today as the market might trade with low volatility in a shortened trading week. Traders and investors might lower the trading activities as the World Cup kickoff. Under the current situation, it is better to stay sideline and observe the market situation.
Next month could become a major confirmation of the long-term market trend after the Fed interest-rate decision.
Technical Analysis
Dow Jones Industrial Average (INDU)
DJIA index bounced from the 33,250 level and maintain the close above it. The index also stays above the daily SMA 200 which means there is a chance of bullish continuation. At the current time, traders will continue to monitor the index reactions above both levels. If the index starts moving lower and prints a close below the daily SMA 200 then the bearish trend will resume.
Procter & Gamble (PG)
PG share prices undergo a bullish correction toward the daily SMA 200. In the past, there is bearish rejection near the averages and the bearish trend continues. If the share prices get rejected with strong bearish reactions then there is a chance of bearish continuation. On the upside, the share prices need to print a close above the daily SMA 200 and a new higher high to reverse the current bearish trend.
