The AUD/USD currency pair on Friday bounced off the current 7-day lows to surge above 0.6950 after a weak US ISM Manufacturing PMI. The currency pair had plunged earlier in the week to fall below 0.6935 coming off the back of a major rally that started on December 17, 2019.
The currency pair’s rebound today helped the Australian Dollar to trim the new year losses incurred against the US dollar. This also pushed it off the oversold levels of the RSI indicator in the 60-min chart.
