CHF/JPY Bullish Pullback to Key 200.00 Level?

CHFJPY has been climbing steadily along an ascending trend line since late 2025, and the pair is currently testing this dynamic support that’s been holding nicely for several weeks. Price is trading around 202.24, having pulled back from recent highs near 203.10.

The trend line coincides with a cluster of Fibonacci retracement levels, which might be enough to attract fresh buying interest. The 38.2% Fib is located at 200.83, while the 50% level lines up with the broken resistance near 200.00. This psychological level also corresponds with a former consolidation zone that could now serve as support.

A larger pullback could still reach the 61.8% Fib at 199.44 or the 100 SMA dynamic support, which might be the line in the sand for this bullish trend. If any of these floors hold, CHFJPY could resume the rally to retest the swing high around 203.10 or push higher to establish new peaks.

The 100 SMA is above the 200 SMA to confirm that the path of least resistance is to the upside or that the climb is more likely to continue than to reverse. The gap between the moving averages is widening to reflect strengthening bullish momentum, with both indicators positioned below price action and serving as dynamic support.

Stochastic is hovering near the middle of the range, suggesting that there’s room for the oscillator to move in either direction. A bounce from current levels would indicate that buyers are defending support and gearing up for another leg higher.

RSI is also trading around the midpoint, showing fairly neutral momentum for now. Turning higher from here could confirm that bullish pressure is returning, potentially spurring a move back to the recent highs.

CHFJPY could take cues from Swiss and Japanese economic data releases, as well as broader risk sentiment in financial markets. A pickup in risk appetite tends to favor the franc over the yen.
