EUR/CHF Fails to Extend Gains After Bouncing Off Multi-Year Lows

The EUR/CHF currency pair on Wednesday failed to build on the early morning session gains beyond 1.0627 amid a lack of upward momentum. The currency pair had earlier bounced off new multi-year lows of about 1.0605 despite trading at 1.0650 at the start of the week.

The currency pair has been trading within a descending channel over the last two weeks. This indicates a short-term bearish bias on the market sentiment. Both the 100-hour and the 200-hour SMA lines are above the current level of the pair. This further supports bearish control.
