EUR/USD Bullish Pullback Underway As Uptrend Gains Traction

EURUSD has staged an impressive rally from its recent lows, trading above a well-defined ascending trend line and climbing toward critical Fibonacci resistance levels.

The pair is currently trading at 1.1395 after encountering headwinds near the 50% retracement level at 1.1341, suggesting that sellers are defending this key technical zone.

The currency pair has successfully navigated above multiple moving averages, with the blue and red dynamic support levels providing a foundation for the recent advance. This bullish moving average configuration confirms that the path of least resistance has shifted to the upside, at least in the near term.

From a Fibonacci perspective, EURUSD is approaching a critical juncture. The 38.2% retracement at 1.1361 could provide near-term support, while the 50% level at 1.1341 appears to be in line with a previous resistance zone.

A larger correction could reach the 61.8% Fibonacci level around 1.1420, which coincides with the rising trend line support and could be the line in the sand for a bullish pullback. In other words, a break below this level could be an early signal for trend reversal.

The ascending trend line support, originating from the swing lows, continues to provide a bullish backdrop for the pair. As long as price remains above this rising support, the medium-term outlook favors further upside momentum.

Technical oscillators are painting a mixed picture. The Stochastic indicator is hovering in overbought territory, suggesting that bullish momentum may be running out of steam in the short term. This could lead to a period of consolidation or a minor pullback to digest recent gains.

Meanwhile, the RSI is approaching overbought levels but hasn’t yet reached extreme readings, indicating that buyers may still have some ammunition left for another push higher.

EURUSD traders should monitor the 50% Fibonacci level closely, as a decisive break above 1.1350 could trigger momentum-driven buying toward the next resistance cluster around 1.1420-1.1425.
