Exness Records Over $930B in March Trading Volumes

The trading volumes for the month of March at Exness have hit a record high of more than $930 billion. Exness has been witnessing a steady growth in trading volumes since May 2020.

Exness, a multi-asset brokerage firm with an international reach, has recorded monthly trading volumes for March at $930.6 billion. The increase in trading volumes has been attributed to a rise in new traders who have joined the platform. In addition, the total trading volumes for March remained relatively higher as compared to the previous months. There was a 39% increase in the trading volumes for March.

This year’s March trading volumes also remained strategically high compared to what was recorded in March 2020. Most firms witnessed a spike in trading volumes for March 2020 after market volatility caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. One of the fascinating factors about Exness’s performance is that its trading volumes had been on a steady rise since May last year. However, during this duration, some months recorded higher growths compared to previous months.

A surge in trading volumes

Exness offers various products and services, including CFDs, stocks. Commodities, indices, cryptocurrencies, and more. The brokerage firm has a trading license from a Seychelles regulator, and it has also recently been licensed to extends its services in South Africa.

One of the catalysts contributing to the spike in trading volumes is the influx of new traders. In March 2021, Exness recorded the highest number of monthly active clients compared to the previous months. There were over 187,000 active monthly users during the month compared to 178,175 active users registered in February. This number is also significantly higher than in March 2020, where there were only 103,373 registered active users.

Exness also finished the 2020 financial year with record-breaking figures, and this may also be witnessed in 2021 if the growth trend progresses. The broker also stated that by leveraging the volatility in the market, they have managed to record the record-breaking trading volumes in the firm’s history. Despite the high trading volumes for March, the broker did not provide any details regarding demand across single asset classes.

Exness states that they are focusing on enhancing their leadership by hiring a more potent human resources team. Recently, the company appointed Artem Seledtsov as the new Markets Business Director. Besides this, it also appointed Nabil Matar to be the new head of Premier Account Management operations. With strong leadership, this firm will be able to achieve its short-term and long-term goals.
